Our Dream Glass

Our Dream Glass

Sometimes, you’ve gotta judge a book by its cover.

Before launching Nette, we spent months doing in-depth research into the candles that were already out there, and disappointingly, we found that most brands use the same cheap, mass-produced glass containers, stick a cute label on it, and call it a day. You know what we’re talking about — the clear or colored glass you toss into the recycling bin once you’re done with it. Our planet is already burdened with more waste than it can handle, so it was important to us to design something different. A vessel that’s handmade, super high quality, and seriously chic. Something you wouldn’t dream of tossing in the trash once your candle is done. There’s nothing sustainable about that.

To us, the ultimate luxury isn’t just a well-designed item, it’s an item that’s built to last (and love) for years to come. Our blown-glass vessels are handmade in Italy by a family-owned company that’s been around for almost 75 years, using traditional artisanal techniques to create truly captivating objects. Each vessel features a special pearlescent glass and is meticulously painted to reach the perfect Nette hues. It’s really like nothing else on the market right now.

Best of all, once you’ve burned your Nette candle, the glass can take on a new purpose. To breathe new life into your Nette candle, all you have to do is stick it in the freezer for around 20 minutes. The remaining wax will pop out easily and then you can wash it in hot, soapy water. Voila, a beautiful glass vessel that you can reuse as a drinking glass, a scrunchie holder, a pencil cup, or anything else your heart desires. You can collect all the colors or make a set of one color. This is upcycling just the way we like it.
